At 8:00 am we started our sail in to the port of Cobh in Ireland. On our way in we passed the harbor lighthouse and an old fort used to protect the harbor. Because another ship was docked in Cobh, we had to sail by this spectacular city and dock in a commercial pier in Ringsaskiddy. We a took tour into Cork’s countryside and the town of Kinsdale with its Georgian homes and Dutch influences. After the tour we hopped on the shuttle bus which went to Cork City, where spent some time walking around the town.
