We anchored in the bay just outside of Portree on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Today we tendered into the town and went up into the town square to start our tour of the isle. Our first stop was out to the Cullin Mountains and a view from the old stone bridge. We then returned back thru Portree and headed out on the Trotternish Peninsula with its majestic rugged coastline and vast pastures with sheep and goats grazing along with the traditional stone houses. On the peninsula we also passed by a thatch roofed Croft village of days gone by before returning to town and tendering back to the ship.
