Today we docked in Naples, Italy right in the city. We left the ship and walked down the waterfront to the lift that took us up to the Piazza del Plebiscito where the Royal palace, the Prefectural, and the Opera house are located. After walking around some of the side streets we had a Pizza at il Vero Bar del Professore and then went to the Galleria Umberto a beautiful shopping mall and then past Castel Nuovo before returning to the ship. As we left Naples we were escorted out of the bay by many birds.
