We docked in Cochin, India and took a tour after clearing customs which went surprisingly good. Our first stop was at the Cochin laundry that has been in use since the Dutch occupied the area. Then we went to the oldest church in Cochin with it’s large manual fans. From there we traveled to the Chinese fishing nets and then a 90 minute ride to the back waters and rice field area where we boarded a house boat for lunch and a cruise through the waterway. Our sail away took us out of the harbor at sunset and past more of the large nets.
