We arrived in Colombo, Sri Lanka and took a tour around the city. We drove past many British colonial buildings with their red brick and white and red arches and then past the Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque, or red mosque. We then explored the Pettah district with its many markets and the Natami workers that carry produce and other products on carts to the market. We stopped at Independence square and then it was on to the Colombo Museum. We then stopped at the Galle Face Hotel for a snack before ending our tour at Gangarama Buddhist Temple. Just before we set anchor we were treated to a wonderful sunset.
