Today we docked in Wellington the capital of New Zealand. We took a tour around the city with our first stop on top of Mount Victoria for a look down on Wellington and the surrounding area. We next traveled around Oriental Bay to see some of the private cable cars. Next we passed by the “Windy Wellington Sign” on our drive around the Miramar Peninsula were we had lunch at the Chocolate Fish BBQ. After circling the peninsula we went to the Te Kopahou Reserve Visitors Center and then up to the wind turbine for another spectacular view of the area. We wound up our day at the Wellington cable car.
