Arica is a town in the north of Chile located in the mouth of the Azapa Valley. We took a tour that started out in the main square of the town with the San Marcos church that was designed by Eiffel and is constructed of pre fabricated iron. From there we went into the Azapa Valley to visit the San Miguel Archaeological Museum where a collection of pre Columbian mummies were on exhibit. Our final stop was at Prescencias Tutelares sculptures standing alone out in the desert where a folkloric show was performed. Before we sailed two more groups preformed on the dock.
