Todays stop was Grand Turk in Turks & Caicos. Grand Turk is a small island only 7 miles long and 1.5 miles wide with the cruise center built by the Carnival corporation. We hopped on the Rainbow Calypso Tram for a 2 hour ride around the island seeing the small communities, the salt ponds and some panoramic views of the island. We also came across some of the wild donkeys tha roam the island. At the far north end of the island we stopped at the Grand Turk Lighthouse and then proceeded back to the cruise terminal.
