On This Day . . .

On April 3, 2018, we entered the harbor to view Table Mountain and the city of Cape Town below it. After we docked  we took a tour to  the Aquila Game  Reserve. The Aquila Game Reserve is situated on 24,700 acres of Southern Karoo Highlands and combines the fauna and flora of three beautiful valleys. The reserve encompasses a natural wetland and a magnificent mountain range, and is home to an outstanding variety of game. At the reserve we loaded into our vehicles and took off out into the reserve. The trip was quite rewarding as we saw many of Africa's magnificent animals and another gorgeous sunset.
