After exiting the Panama Canal we headed north and arrived in Puntarenas, Costa Rica on January 11, 2017. Puntarenas is situated on a peninsula and the ship has to dock at the end of a long pier. We took a tour up to the Cloud Forest at Volcano National Park. After a three and half hour bus ride we arrived at the park to find out that whole area was fogged in, thus the name cloud forest. We did walk around and enjoyed the many Wild Flowers that were in the area. We then proceeded to the Doka Estate Coffee Plantation, where we toured the grounds and processing plant.
