On the evening of March 18, 2017, we went into the city at night in order to see some of Mumbai’s major attractions. We first went to the Gateway to India, a monument built in 1911, to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai. Then once again we saw Victoria Station which was now totally illuminated. Meandering through the busy streets there were many sights to be seen. We even came upon a large cricket field completely decorated for a wedding reception, that was to be held later that night. After we returned to the ship, we were entertained by a local Bollywood Show.
