On This Day . . .
On day 2 in Hong Kong, March 3, 2017, we once again took the Hop on Hop off bus. Once again we took the Star Ferry over to Hong Kong Island, but this time we took a different route. We started out by passing the Golden Bauhina, the site where the British handed off the territory to China in 1997. Next we headed to Victoria Peak and its’ famous tram , the Peak Tram, which took us to the top and some spectacular views of Hong Kong Harbor. We then proceed to travel through the city seeing the hustle and bustle. On our return to the ship, the Clock Tower was seen on Kawloon Island.
