January 12, 2017 found us in Corinto, Nicaragua at a small cruise terminal. When leaving the ship we were greeted by some welcome dancers in traditional dress. We took a tour to the Colonial city of Leon, a UNESCO World Heritage site which was a hour and a half drive from Corinto. While in Leon we walked through the old town and visited the Cathedral of Leon which is situated on the Central Square, which hosted a variety of vendors. Upon our return to the port we passed the impressive San Cristobal Volcano. We left this port as we witnessed another spectacular Sunset.
