ur second day, March 20, 2015, we spent exploring some of the temples and walking the streets in the city. Flowers are an important part of the offerings in the temples, so outside of each were flower sellers and garland makers. Our first temple was a Shiva temple called Babulnath and is one of the oldest temples in the city. Around the temple were old Victorian apartments with their cupola style chimneys. We then walked the streets to the Radha Gopinath Temple, a Krishna temple. Here the devotees were making their own flower garlands for their offerings. While in the streets we saw many sidewalk street vendors and more sacred cows walking the city.
