Kotor is located at the end of several connecting bays that resemble a fiord. Here we docked right in the town in front of the walled city. Our tour took us up and over the Lovcen Serpentine Hills. We stopped at switchback 25 for some spectacular views of the bay and Adriatic Sea. We proceeded up to the town of Njegusi, where we had a snack of locally smoked ham and cheese. From there we went back to the coast for a panoramic view of Budva. After returning to Kotor, we explored the walled city. Our sail away include a scenic cruise around the tiny islands of St. Georges and Our Lady of the Rock Monastery which are situated in the middle of the bay.
