Another 2 days at sea brought us to Tenerife in the Canary Islands. This was one of our overnight stops. On the first day we went to Mt. Teide National Park, where it had snowed just 2 weeks before. The two main attractions here are Mt. Teide and “Los Roques de Garcia” which resembles the surface of the moon.
After visiting the park we drove down to a place called Pueblo Chico. This was a miniature village of the important landmarks and buildings of the seven Canary Islands. On our return, we stopped at the Jardin de Aclimatacion de La Orotava (botanical garden)
