Almeria is in the Andalusia region of Spain. Our tour took us along the coast thru the Cabo de Gata-Nijar National Park and then inland to the hilltop village of Mojacar. Here we had time to explore the Moorish town. On our return route we passed thru the Tabernas Desert, where many “Spaghetti Westerns” were filmed. In the afternoon we strolled the downtown area of Almeria.
